Three (3) Geodesic Domes are for sale. They were made in Sydney, Australia by a German engineer. The three domes are currently stacked inside a 20ft shipping container and shipping to your closest port is included in the price.

Each dome has a 45ft (13.7m) diameter and is 28.5ft (8.7m) high. Everything is included in the kits to construct the dome shell. You will need to lay the foundations and flooring, internal doors , walls, windows and floor yourself. You will will also need to include the roof tiles (shingles). Please review the packing list.

Included are detailed assembly instructions, color-coded struts, studs, t-blockings, triangular plywood panels (just under 1/2" thick), connectors, all nuts, bolts, screws and tool kit. A cupola, almost 18” high, is included in the kit and is easily installed. This enhances the natural light and ventilation in your dome home.

All the wood is ply, with only the radiata pine base plates being treated. Since domes are normally raised off the ground, it is not necessary to spray the entire structure (and much healthier too!).

Each and every strut is beveled on one edge so the plywood panels sit flush on every triangle. All the components of the dome are pre-cut, pre-drilled and color coded to make it easy to assemble with precision and confidence. The largest piece for a 45’ diameter dome is just over 9 ft long and is easily handled by one person. The domes are completely free-standing during construction. No shoring up is needed. No special tools (except those supplied) or expensive lift equipment, such as cranes are necessary to assemble.

The design complies with the Australian Standard Timber Structures Part 1: Design Methods AS 1720.1_1997 and meet all sub-alpine wind categories in Australia.

The price of US$20,000 each (US$60,000 total) includes shipping to your closest port and the shipping container as well. As you can see from the photos, since everything is already packed in the container it will be difficult to separate them to sell individually.
